DUE TO THE NEW CORONA VIRUS GUIDELINES, WE ASK THAT YOU CALL US FROM YOUR CAR TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU ARE HERE. A STAFF MEMBER WILL COME OUT TO TAKE A HISTORY AND BRING YOUR PET INSIDE THE BUILDING. CURRENTLY, WE ARE NOT ALLOWING ANY CLIENTS INTO THE BUILDING.
IF YOU ARE PICKING UP MEDICATION OR FOOD PLEASE CALL AHEAD SO THAT STAFF HAS TIME TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER. UPON ARRIVAL CALL US FROM YOUR CAR AND A STAFF MEMBER WILL BRING IT OUT TO YOU.

Foxboro Animal Hospital will be implementing telemedicine consults on Monday
March 23, 2020 using TeleVet. These consults will be for
non-emergency, simple to treat problems. These cases will be determined by
Doctor discretion, based on your pet’s symptoms. The fee for the consult will be
$39.00 plus any medications that they may need. If you are interested in this or

In doing a “Telemedicine” consult for you and your pet we are not able to
physically examine your pet (listen to their heart and lungs, put our hand on their
body to palpate for any abnormalities, etc.). As a result of this we cannot
thoroughly evaluate all aspects of your pet’s physical status, and may not pick up
on abnormalities that we would through a normal exam. As pets are different
from humans and cannot relay symptoms to us, under normal circumstances we
rely on our exam findings and diagnostics to determine your pet’s health
problems. Without these tools we must rely on you, the owner, to thoroughly
describe to us what your pet is doing and what abnormalities they are displaying.
By acknowledging this statement your are releasing us from liability for physical
exam findings that may be missed by this mode of consultation.
